Thesis-task 2

What is methodology

The methodology literally it’s the science (logos) of the methods, epistemology, study of methods or the method of methods.

When working on a field, we can establish a series of question to ask, people to go and interview, information to be collected, operations to be carried, in order to make choices. This allows to carry more effective study or solving a problem. The methodology is this systematization of the study, regardless of the field of study itself.

Methodologies have been subject to very significant changes over the ages, especially in philosophy and science. It depends on many periods of history, but even civilizations.

Difference between method and methodology:

A method is a rational and organized approach in order to achieve a desired result. Methodology is the science of the method (as its etymology suggests), a discourse on method; a meta-method.
