Writing For Designers Journals Vs Articles

Article

  • Written by a journalist or freelancer.
  • Covers a wide variety of topics often news and general information, short and general (written for all types of public, Usually 1/8 to 1/2 page).
  • The output can be text or sound .
  • Basic and direct language understandable by the general majority.
  • A rare use of citations, quotations and referencing.



Journals


  • Based on research and/or important events.
  • Giving citations wherever needed supported by footnotes.
  • The use of technical and scientific language.
  • Written by PHD holders and topic's specialists(can be either individual or group work).
  • Journal's can be considered as authentic, reliable piece of information and  be used as citation in other journals or revues.
