Final for 2nd assignment poster.

In my mind  my mother is a good mom.  She is friendly, funny, beautiful and she likes to smile. She is strong woman because she is a career woman, a mother, and a wife. She is my role model, and I want to be just like her when I grow up.

I use blue as the color of the background of this poster because it is also the color of Superman. The background has yellow light shooting out from her gives it more prominent theme of super mom. My mother is a career woman, so I chose to make her wearing a suit. Guo Li Na is my mother's name, I chose to make the font look like it is from a super hero comic. the color of the font I chose is pink, because pink represents the feminine side of her. The heart shape logo also represents my love for her.

I have made a few changes on the color scheme from the previous version.  In the previous version, the girl's color is black, now i use white instead. The background color, I chose the dark gray and light gray to bring out the shape of the girl. I chose orange as the color of the skirt because it gives it a more  vibrant look; with these gray serif I believe it looks very interesting, and will definitely attract people's attention.

The first represent mother's hand, means that the mother is a great.

The second is the image of a superwomen.

The third is the image of a chef, because she cooking is also good for me.

The fourth is a preliminary idea, it's like the fifth.

The fifth is my chose, because my mother is a businesswomen, so i chose suit to the image of convenience. My mother is short hair, wearing glasses, this super mum poster as a whole feels like a man or superman. This more direct expression of her image in my mind.

where my ideas come form?

My idea from here, because in my mind my mother is a superwoman, my mother is a businesswomen, maybe in the image i designed a more occupational image. According to this example i also hope that can create a poster of the mother of one of the characteristics of superwoman image.

Rationale

The name of my typography conference is Sex Drugs & Serif. I hope to create a poster that could be addictive, just like chocolate along with a pretty girl. That way it will draw attention from people at this conference. For this assignment i created five promotional items such as poster, umbrella, fan, key chains and purse.
